Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are used for facial aesthetic treatments and are injected into the skin. They are designed to effectively reduce the appearance of unwanted wrinkles, contour and create volume, and to revitalise the skin. They are based on Hyaluronic acid which is a substance that naturally exists in your body. Hyaluronic acid is a sugar molecule that exists naturally in almost all living organisms. It binds water and can act as a lubricant and shock absorber in movable parts of the body such as joints. It is also important for the transport of nutrients and in regulating water balance in skin.
Not all hyaluronic acids are the same, each brand has a range of ‘tissue tailored’ products designed for specific results. One size does not fit all. Leading and well established brands include Restylane.- To correct or enhance facial contours; cheeks, temples, jawline, nose, chin.
- To define, correct or enhance lips
- To soften and correct facial wrinkles or folds
- To restore lost volume in hands to reduce the appearance of veins and tendons
- To improve the tone, texture and hydration of the skin.

Micro-needling (Skin Pen)
Micro-needling is an innovative treatment providing a solution to fine lines, wrinkles, scars and acne scars as well as improvement to the overall condition skin, tone and texture. It scientifically reduces fine lines, plumps facial volume and fades scarring using a method of introducing controlled trauma to the skin triggering release of growth factors, an increase in collagen production and elasticity in the skin. The process involves using small needles to create tiny punctures in the skin which triggers the bodies natural wound healing response to renew skin cells, produce collagen and stimulate elastin. Creating tiny punctures also creates superficial micro-channels, which allows topical serums, and creams to be absorbed more effectively into the skin.
The advanced medical-grade automated micro-needling devices used is the Skin pen which has a much higher success rate than previous generation roller needling. Traditional rollers have a fixed needle length or penetration depth meaning you can’t tailor the treatment to target different thickness of skin tissue like you can with an automated pen device. This will allows your aesthetician to properly address the specific needs of thinner skin on your lower eyelids, crow’s feet, and forehead or thicker skin of your upper lip, décolletage and cheeks.
The automated design also eliminates the ‘drag’ you get with a roller, protecting the new skin cell growth providing quicker healing.
The skin’s repair process results in a thicker dermis with the appearance of softer wrinkles, plumped skin and faded scars.
Micro-needling treatment can help to improve the appearance of:
- Fine Lines and Wrinkles
- Ageing skin
- Pigmentation / Uneven Skin Tone
- Acne Scars
- Body Scars
- Stretch Marks
- Crows Feet
- Sagging Skin
- Open pores / Improve Skin Texture
Recommended course of three treatments, prices start from £250 per treatment
